we have really been enjoying reading the Fablehaven series by brandon mull. the books are aimed at young readers but are enjoyable for adults too.
i just picked up book two today. elayna was so exicted to start reading when she got home from school. now dan and i will have to fight her for a chance to read.

I absolutely LOVED these books. I can't wait for the next one to come. Another series that is similar and just as great is The Sister's Grimm series. The Lightening Thief is also great. Happy reading. :)
I read all four post-surgery and LOVED them! I'm excited you guys are reading them together--what fun! Agreed with your friend Chadna that the Olympians Series is really fun as well.
