summer

i love summer! We spend almost every day at the neighborhood pool and every evening outside eating popsicles and jumping on the trampoline. It is so nice to get a break from the early morning school routine and not be on any set schedule. I also love having my big girl helpers home to help entertain the little ones. Lorelei and Ben have been having so much fun with all their siblings home! The other night while they were all on the trampoline I quickly grabbed my camera. I was lucky to get them to stay still for a few seconds to take a photo! Love these summer nights! Before we know it, it will be over. :(

Memorial Day weekend

We had such a fun Memorial Day weekend! On Saturday, Grammy and Grandpa treated all of us to a fun trip to the zoo. It was opening day of the new Dinosaur exhibit, which Evan loved! He has been obsessed with dinosaurs for as long as I can remember. This was also our first time to see the new gorilla exhibit!

Elayna missed out on the zoo because it was her first day of her summer job as a lifeguard at grammy and grandpa's neighborhood pool. It was fun to see her in action when we got back from the zoo. I didn't want to embarrass her too much, so I snuck a quick photo from far away.
