it is so nice to be back home! we were discharged from the hospital yesterday afternoon. baby brother was born at 4pm on monday. he is one of my lightest babies at 8 lbs. 9 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. we had the hardest time choosing a name. we had it narrowed down to ethan or evan and just could not decide. so we let the girls pick which one they liked better. so here is evan daniel....we are so happy to have him in our family!

even though she's technically not a baby since she turns 3 in about a week. but i still think of her that way :) i will be induced monday morning at 7am. we can't wait to meet baby brother!

i made these tasty little red velvet cake balls for our valentines treat. i love bakerella's blog. if you haven't been there, check it out!
here's what the inside looks like. yum! and they were so easy to make. next time i think i will make the cake from scratch instead of a mix. anyone have a good recipe for red velvet cake?

this week i will be 37 weeks along. this pregnancy has gone by so fast. i will be induced at the end of february and i am so not ready. dr. still hasn't set a date yet, but i will let everyone know when she does. i was 2 cm dilated at my appointment last week. and we still haven't decided on a name for baby brother. oh, and i got a new haircut a couple of weeks ago. it's layered up real cute in the back.
