last weekend we went camping at garner state park on the frio river with my sister's family and my parents. we had such a great time and couldn't have asked for better weather! nice and cool at night and warm during the day.
here's a view of a small section of our campsite (looking very deserted because everyone was down at the river exploring.)

grandpa and evan walking the trail behind our campsite down to the river

grammy and the grandbabies playing with rocks.

grandpa and elayna enjoying the beautiful morning down by the river

when it warmed up in the afternoon we all put on our swimsuits and headed down to our favorite section of the river with the tubes

these two loved all the rocks. evan liked piling them in his trucks and bus.

the big kids loved the rope swing!

two cuties!

a few photos by the big swimming hole. we stopped here for some lunch before we left the park.

check out the size of that tree!

texas hill country is so beautiful! we can't wait to go back again next year.

Your rope swing pictues turned out good. I wish I had my camera for that. I'm already looking forward for next year!
Those pictures make me want to go back right now. Love these photos.
P.S. what is that white object outside of our tent? that deserves a blog post all by itself. (ha,ha)
So so jealous!!! Wish we could have been there, especially since that was our campsite. Glad you guys had such a fun time. Maybe next year we'll be there. :)
