i have been searching for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe and i think i finally found it! These are the best chocolate chip cookies ever. crisp on the outside and soft and chewy inside. the secret is melted butter and an egg yolk. recipe here. the only things i did different were to cut back a little on the sugar and i made the cookies a smaller size than recommended.

oh they look so good, it seems like finding the perfect chocolate chip reciepe is a never ending quest! I'll have to try these.
