haircut

this is the shortest i have ever cut elayna's hair! this is so much easier to comb through and looks a lot neater when she wears it down. i thought i would miss her long hair too much, but i really like this length.

finally...

he actually let me take a few pics of him. he's been growing out his goatee for the past couple of months. i thought it would be fun to document it before he shaves it all off.

oh and i had to add this. elayna drew this picture of daddy during church today. he's holding his guitar and that's "chapstick" behind his ear.

today kyla helped me make some yummy lemon-cream cheese cupcakes. we got the recipe from the latest issue of kraft food&family. kyla is such a good kitchen helper. anytime i cook she wants to help measure ingredients and stir.

this afternoon...

hanging out with the girls in the backyard. we have had the most gorgeous weather the past couple of days! today avery surprised us by climbing to the top of the slide platform all by herself. i need to watch her extra careful now in case she tries to copy her crazy big sisters and jump off the top.

this little munchkin keeps me entertained all day with all her little jokes and stories. she especially loves telling knock knock jokes and sometimes they even make sense! love her cute little laugh. sometimes i just want to bottle her up.

the other night we were watching home videos from when elayna was a little baby at byu. it's hard to believe our little baby nina will be eight in august!
