i love being at the beach in the evening. it's not too hot and you don't have to worry about getting sunburned. grammy and grandpa joined us for the evening. we had dinner on the beach (kfc, potatoe salad, watermelon, chips, and homemade cookies) and the rest of the time was spent relaxing and playing in the water.

Looks like fun. We haven't been to the beach yet this year. The beaches by us are a bit creepy. A few years ago someone got bitten by a shark, and the last time we went it was eeriely deserted, we got attacked by giant horse flies and close by the shore there was a marsh area with alligators. Not the type of beach you want to bring kids to!
We are going to miss the beach! The evening is the best time, I have to agree. The closest thing we've got to an ocean is the great lakes!
