Bayou Wildlife Park

While Dan's mom was visiting, we took a trip to the Bayou Wildlife Park. This fun place in only ten minutes from our house and so much fun for the kids. They take you on a 45 minute tram ride where you get to see up close and feed all sorts of different animals. There is also a petting zoo and free pony rides for the kids.

We had such a fun week with Grandma DeeDee. Our week was also filled with swimming, sno cones, the park and splash pad, fireworks, Jurassic World and Pappasitos!

Beach trip

It is so nice to live close enough to the beach to take little day trips. And it's even nicer when you have family that lives close by to come along. My brother Jeremy and his little family joined us for our recent trip to the beach. Cousins Ben and Rae loved playing with the shovels and buckets.

A few weeks ago I took some engagement photos for my sister and her fiancé in downtown Houston. We had such a fun time. Can't wait for their wedding in November!

Everyone is so happy when daddy comes home from work, especially baby brother. these photos were taken at the end of May, shortly before the boys got their summer haircuts. I need to post some updated photos of them. Benjamin looks like such a big boy now.

kindergarten grad

Kindergarten graduation is a big deal around here. The schools have a cute little ceremony with cap and gown and give each student a fancy diploma and certificate with their photo. Evan was very proud of it. Can't believe he'll be a big first grader next year!
